Located on the corner of Bourke Street Mall and Elizabeth Street, Melbourne’s GPO is a heritage-listed building in the heart of Melbourne’s CDB retail precinct. In 2014, fashion retailer H&M opened their first Australian flagship store, taking over the ground and first floors.

The interior of Melbourne’s GPO has been transformed into a single store, whilst retaining the historical and heritage aspects of the city’s original Victorian-era post office.

Comprising three upper levels, basement and mezzanine, the tenancy is predominantly fashion retailers complimented by a mix of dining options.

Both Myer and David Jones flagship Victorian stores are also in the Mall. The game of laneway hide-and-seek played by Melbourne retailers in the hidden alleyways of the city has revitalised the CBD making it the most exciting shopping destination in the country, especially when it comes to fashion.
